Born and raised on St. Simons Island, Georgia, Billy grew up around the real estate and development industry. He is the son of Paul Cowley, a golf course architect and resort land-planner. Paul is a senior design associate with Love Golf Design and was the lead architect on the local Dunes Course at Diamante. Some of Billy’s earliest memories are watching his father at his drafting board, trips to his father’s project sites, and sitting on his father’s knee while he moved dirt and operated various construction equipment. While in college, Billy made several trips to the area and fell in love with everything the Baja has to offer. After the completion of his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Creative Writing from the College of Charleston, Billy moved to Cabo San Lucas in 2012 and began establishing himself in the community while he focused on luxury fractional sales. Transitioning to real estate sales in 2017, he quickly established himself as one of the up-and-coming agents who prides himself on his knowledge of the market, his ability to spot trends, and his relentless pursuit to find the right property for his clients while protecting their money in the process. In 2021, Billy was able to combine his passion for real estate and his love for the game of golf when he took over the position of Sales Lead with the newly established 'Signature Golf Properties' division of REmexico. Billy firmly believes that Los Cabos is one of the premiere destinations in the world and that the area is entering a golden era, akin to the resort town booms of Florida in the 1950s and 60s. With that vision in mind and coupled with his youthful enthusiasm, Billy is committed to serving the community and helping new and old Cabo enthusiasts explore long term options and investments in this gorgeous corner of the world.
